May is International Supervised Visitation Center Awareness Month!
The Orange Ribbon is the international symbol used to promote Supervised Visitation Awareness Month during the month of May. Rainbow Bridge, your local safe exchange and visitation center, will be celebrating throughout the entire month of May!
The Orange Ribbon Campaign started right here at Rainbow Bridge in March of 2001. It was then adopted by the Supervised Visitation Network-MN Chapter in April 2001. At the Supervised Visitation Network (SVN) International Conference in May of 2001, the SVN Board of Directors adopted the Orange Ribbon as the International symbol for visitation centers around the world. With over 300 centers in the U.S., as well as centers in Canada, Australia, and Singapore, families can be assured of a neutral exchange or supervised visit just about anywhere!
For more information about the SVN or centers in other areas, you can either call Rainbow Bridge or check out the Supervised Visitation Network website (svnetwork.net).
